Las Vegas is home to some of the most luxurious and interesting hotels in all of America, possibly even the world. Today I’ve compiled a list of 10 of the most memorable hotels you NEED to visit whilst in Las Vegas. They are all uniquely different and an absolute delight to visit, whether that be to explore and to take a few pictures or to find yourself a hotel that best suits you. In no particular order, let’s get started!
1.) ARIA Resort & Casino
To start off our list, we have the ultra modern Aria Hotel. The curved glass towers offer amazing views of the strip as it is the largest and tallest structure at CityCentre! It boasts a AAA five diamond rating, 4000+ guest rooms and suites, 16 restaurants, 10 bars, and a casino with over 150,000 sq ft of gaming space! Not forgetting its luxury pool and spa. The Aria has also been described as “the most technologically advanced hotel” due to its smart rooms which automatically adjust curtains, turn off unused lights/electronics, and regulate the temperature when a guest enters or leaves a room. Within the Aria is also the JEWEL Nightclub which is host to many famous DJ’s and musicians. The inside is absolutely mesmerising and creates such an electric atmosphere, great for a night out!
2.) The Venetian Resort & Casino
My personal favourite to visit, The Venetian is an opulent, Italian themed resort that truly sticks to its theme, and does it so well, you actually feel like you are walking along the canals of Venice. The interior is decorated with renaissance style paintings, ceilings and not forgetting the unforgettable gondola experience that traverses through the Grand Canal shopping Centre. Located at one of the most exciting crossroads on the Strip, it puts your within walking distance of some the biggest attractions! Within the Resort, The Venetian is accompanied by The Palazzo Hotel which both offer spacious suites, their standard suite is nearly double the size of the average Las Vegas hotel room, over 40 international restaurants, a state-of-the-art casino and 10 outdoor pools and a world-class spa.
3.) MGM Grand Hotel
Renowned for its star studded events, the MGM Grand is the epitome of the high life. Back in 1993 when it first opened, it was the largest hotel complex in the world! With 30 floors, five outdoor pools, tropical rivers and waterfalls, the MGM is a trendy, modern, easily accessible hotel that is only 10 minutes away from McCarran Airport (which is great after a long flight!). It’s also home to the MGM Grand Garden Arena which has played host to hundreds of events from spectacular concerts, championship fights and premier sports.
4.) Excalibur Hotel & Casino
If Medieval is your thing, Excalibur is sure to get you excited. Hard to miss on the strip, it’s main selling point is the Castle themed building that fronts the hotel. Following with the theme, the hotel also offers a joust dinner show, the Tournament of Kings! A slightly older hotel, it still manages to feature 4 outdoor pools, 6 restaurants, casino and live nightly entertainment is provided.
5.) The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Consisting of two high rise towers, the incredibly stylish Cosmopolitan sets the standard for luxury living within the heart of the strip. With over 3000 rooms, 3 pools (relaxing, day club and nightclub), and a magnitude or restaurants and bars, this particular hotel is a favourite amongst influencers due to its lavish interiors and not forgetting the beautiful Chandelier bar that attracts many to come and see its beautifully designed chandelier inspired area.
6.) Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
I’ve already reviewed caesars palace in the past, but for those of you that haven’t read the blog post, it’s one of the most well known hotels in Las Vegas. It’s been the host to many celebrities such as Muhammed Ali, Frank Sinatra but also the set too many Hollywood films such as The Hangover and Iron Man. It’s also known to be the first true themed hotel on the strip! As the name suggests, it’s opulently decorated and architecturally designed to replicate a Grecian Palace with greek columns, rich colours and fountains a plenty. Not forgetting its directly next to Gordon Ramsays Hells Kitchen restaurant. If you’re looking to leap into the lap of luxury, this is definitely the hotel for you.
7.) Luxor Las Vegas
One of the most recognised resorts in Las Vegas is the 30 story pyramid of the Luxor, renowned for its epyptian styled hotel and casino, paired with its strikingly visible beam of light that gives it a unique allure in comparison with other hotels on the strip. Much like Excalibur, it is one of the older hotels but still does its best to provide the best atmosphere to fit in with the theme that it portrays. It has 4 pools, a wedding chapel, spa, over 20 shops and has hosted Bodies: The Exhibition, an educational display on the human body, and Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition.
8.) Bellagio Hotel & Casino
The famous Fountains of Bellagio are both an unforgettable and unmissable experience when walking down the strip, and in the backdrop of it all, is the Bellagio Hotel. This AAA 5 Diamond rated resort is equipped with a beautiful and richly decorated interior and exterior, a wide range of dining options, 5 pools and and lush botanical gardens. Similar to the Venetian, this hotel is inspired by the Lake Como town of Bellagio in Italy, its elegance carries through in both name and atmosphere. The fountain shows consist of perfectly choreographed water features that perform with light effects and music, they take place every 30 minutes in the day and every 15 minutes form 8pm to midnight.
9.) Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
Always wanted to go to Paris? No worries, just go to Vegas! The Paris Hotel & Casino is a chic, French themed hotel that includes a half scale replica of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, La Fontaine de Mers, and a 1,200 seat theatre called Le Theatre des Arts. It also features an indoor Paris inspired street where you can find plenty of place to wine and dine, a rooftop pool and an indoor mall. You can even eat in the Eiffel Tower as they have a restaurant in there that overlooks the strip, giving you plenty of views with your food!
10.) New York – New York Hotel & Casino
A 150-foot replica of the Statue of Liberty takes the mains stage front this New York inspired resort! Accompanied by a state of the art casino, 180 degree adrenaline pumping rollercoaster, a verity of international cuisines and restaurants, liver entertainment venue and an outdoor swimming pool complete with private cabanas. They even have a genuine Irish Pub (Nine Fine Irishman) that was built in Ireland and then shipped over to the US! Much like the Venetian, Paris and Caesars Palace, its exploration area is inspired by the streets of New York only this one is set at night, it can be a very weird feeling after walking through there and then going outside into the daylight!
So there we have it, our list top 10 list of unforgettable hotels in Las Vegas! I hope this has helped you decide which hotel could be your favourite or which ones you’d like to visit in the future!
